The Everything Green Living Book is Diane’s first book. It was an exciting endeavor as the schedule was tight and the topic engrossing. The book sets out to introduce readers to the environment, challenges faced by the planet, and ways people can reduce their impact on the earth. It’s a fun read, not made to lay guilt, but simply share information. From cutting out car trips to organic food and clothing, the book covers a variety of green issues people can easily incorporate into their everyday lives.
The Everything Green Living Book is published by Adams Media, Inc. and came out in September 2007.
Southern Living magazine gave Diane's Everything book a nod in their January 2008 issue, wedged in between James Michener's Matecumbe and The Everglades: River of Grass by Marjory Stoneman Douglas. Such literary company she never expected.
She was also featured in the Winter 2007 University of Florida alumni magazine, UF Today.
Diane is tickled to see so many libraries carrying The Everything Green Living Book. Even though she loves a sale, she appreciates recycling and reusing too, especially if it's her book. So feel free to "check her out" at your local library.
Along with write-ups Diane has been a guest on Martha Stewart Radio Morning Living Radio Show. She answered early morning environmental questions from the hosts while sitting comfortably sipping coffee at home.
Selections were taken from The Everything Green Living Book and included in 365 Ways to Live Green, which came out in early 2008.
